CAMP DEER RUN MISSION CAMPS

Camp Deer Run is an excellent summer mission opportunity
for a church youth group to minister to underprivileged children.

If you are interested in organizing a mission week of camp,
please contact Fred Reyes, Director of Camps & Recreation,
at 615-491-3581 or by e-mail at campdirector@deerrunretreat.org.

Deer Run partners with community ministries (listed below) and local churches for summer camps to reach children of families who otherwise would not be able to have a camp experience. Throughout the week all activities—small groups, recreation, skits, and worship—focus on teaching the children about being of value, their potential, basic biblical truths, and a passionate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

CAMP DEER RUN
The children (6th-9th grade) enjoy an overnight camp which includes outdoor recreation, games, swimming, canoeing, mentoring relationships, and lots of fun memories!
Costs are covered by scholarship funds donated to Deer Run Retreat.

Additionally, single moms of the camper children enjoy two nights at The Lodge at Deer Run which includes encouraging and informative speaker sessions, pampering, and building relationship with other moms.

Camp Deer Run 2010 takes place June 28-July 2.
The single moms retreat is Wednesday, June 30 through Friday, July 2.
