MISSION CAMPS
An opportunity for your church group to combine
an exciting camp experience AND a life-changing mission experience.
Deer Run partners with you to locate mission service opportunities
in the middle Tennessee area that fit your group's desire for ministry.
Potential ministry partners include Nashville Rescue Mission, GraceWorks,
Against the Grain, SafeHaven Family Shelter, and Greenhouse Ministries.
Your group departs after breakfast for a full day of
off-site mission service with lunch provided by Deer Run.
Return to Deer Run in the late afternoon to an exciting camp atmosphere
including swimming, recreation, dinner, debriefing, and worship.
Deer Run leadership customizes your schedule
for a multi-night camp to best meet your needs.
CAMP DEER RUN
2012 Camp Date: Monday, July 2 to Friday, July 6
Camp Deer Run is a life-changing camp for underprivileged
children or teenagers PLUS a mission opportunity
for your church leaders, youth group, or young adults.
Camp Deer Run is a is an overnight camp provided at no cost
for children or teenagers who may not otherwise have an opportunity
to attend a summer camp or hear about Christ.
Camp Deer Run is a missions experience for your church leaders
and most mature youth and young adults.
Your missions experience begins with raising financial support
to scholarship underprivileged children or teenagers for a week of camp.
Deer Run partners with local inner city ministries
to locate children or teenagers to attend camp.
During the week of camp, your group and Deer Run staff
serve alongside each other as camp staff.
This leadership role provides unique opportunities for your group
to build life-changing relationships with the campers.
The immediate impact of Camp Deer Run is amazing to witness
in both the lives of the campers as well as your group participants. |
